The Meat, The Money, and The Mundane.

I'd like to start by saying two things: I'm very proud of that mediocre title (see above), and Portal 2 was fantastic (play it...right now). Those things said, my week has been entirely normal. I loved it. I didn't get to write as much as I had wanted to, but I intend to fix that in a few minutes. On to the purpose of the title!

The Meat.

I'm happy to say that I've cleared the doldrums that many writers face: the introductory chapters. I feel that my characters have been sufficiently developed, so as to enable a faster pace in the story than I've been taking. This isn't to say that my story hasn't progressed thus far. Quite the opposite. I'm saying--as of chapter 13 things are gonna get pretty crazy. It's been quite an awesome journey thus far, and my little novel is finally learning to walk. I just hope I don't get ahead of myself (ahem, early blog ideas anyone?).

The Money.

My adsense account is officially alive and well! This is excellent news, as a poor starving writer needs all the help he can get to support his future wife. As of the moment, my income from the ads is...limited. I've got a staggering five dollars (well, $4.85) in my account, and the payout isn't til 10 dollars. That being said, it's something! Now I'm not asking you to spend all day clicking my ads, that would be pointless and counterproductive. I'm just saying that if you see an ad that's even remotely interesting to you, click it and spend a minute on the page (well technically 30 seconds). The clicks do add up, and I'd be your friend forever!

INB4: I'm a sellout. Whateva.

The Mundane.

Now wouldn't that be a lame blog paragraph? I'm not going to tell you the mundane details of my life. Not only would a post on my daily routine be boring, but that's my boring details. That being said, I saw a thoroughly entertaining interview with Russel Brand on BBC America. I never knew how incredibly intelligent he was! Strange, that someone so smart always plays the dummy. Also, I had a chat with a couple "laddies" from Scotland. Charming dialogue, truly.

Well, it's been thrilling. Hope you have a fantastically awesome week!

P.S. Anyone who hasn't voted in the survey, it's still on the upper right of my page. Please do!
