As I'm sure you might have noticed, the blog has a new face. For those of you not already familiar with her, this is Eleven. This operative's intrigue is only matched by her deadly reputation. She is one of the main characters of my in-development novel Darkly.
The stunning artwork pictured above is courtesy of my fantastic artist Xia Gordon. Her artistic skill speaks for itself, but I cannot express my gratitude for this stunning creation made especially for Darkly. Eleven is genetically engineered to be physically perfect, and Xia has embodied my vision with more intricate detail than I could have ever have asked or described. I am anxious to work with her on another project as soon as Darkly is completed. All that I can say about this comic is that it is currently in its infancy, and it will be called "Infinity." With her artistic hand's pen-stroke, and my writing, I hope we can produce something great.
Xia, from the bottom of my heart, thank you. This is exactly what my book needed: a face.
As far as the story is concerned, I'm now working on chapter eight. It takes a great deal of patience to work through obstacles that life throws in my way, but I'm hurdling the issues as they come.
Stay tuned for more updates, and if you would like to be on the book's mailing list (excerpts that I don't want floating in the tubes of the WWW) let me know in the comments below!
